Jay
Born in Seattle, Jay became the group's oldest member in 2026. He sings, raps and dances, plays guitar and is seriously into fashion. ENGENEs also love him for being blunt, funny and a bit of a perfectionist.
Jake
Jake grew up in Brisbane, Australia, and his native-level English often makes him the go-to voice in international interviews. A vocalist and rapper, he has an easygoing, sunny vibe that new fans fall for fast.
Sunghoon
Before K-pop, Sunghoon was a competitive figure skater at junior level, and you can see it in how he dances: clean lines, lots of control. He's also very often called the visual of the group.
Sunoo
Sunoo is ENHYPEN's mood maker. A soft-voiced vocalist who's completely at home in front of a camera, he made the lineup as the producers' pick at the end of I-LAND, and he's proven that call right many times over.
Jungwon
Jungwon finished first in the I-LAND final vote and has led the group since debut, despite being one of the youngest. A vocalist and dancer, he's known for being calm and level-headed, which mattered a lot in 2026.
Ni-ki
Ni-ki is from Okayama, Japan. He was dancing from a young age and performed as one of the young backup dancers on SHINee World 2017 before joining I-LAND. He's the maknae, and also the member most often in the spotlight for dance.
I-LAND: how ENHYPEN was formed
I-LAND was a survival show that aired on Mnet from June 26 to September 18, 2020, co-produced by CJ ENM and HYBE. Twenty-three trainees competed for seven spots. In the finale, the top six were decided by a global fan vote and the seventh was chosen by the producers.
The final lineup, in order: Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Ni-ki, Heeseung, Sunghoon, then Sunoo as the producers' pick. Fans literally voted most of the group into existence, which is a big reason the bond between ENHYPEN and ENGENE has been so strong from day one.
ENHYPEN debuted on November 30, 2020 with the EP Border: Day One and the title track Given-Taken. The music video already set up the concept that's followed them ever since: boys handed a new life, cast as vampires.
Why did Heeseung leave ENHYPEN?
On March 10, 2026, BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung was leaving the group. According to the label, in-depth talks with each member about the group's future made it clear that Heeseung had his own distinct musical vision. Rather than doing solo work alongside the group, the decision was for him to focus fully on a solo career. ENHYPEN carries on as six.
The news hit a lot of ENGENEs hard, and part of the fandom campaigned for him to come back. A few days later, the label confirmed he would not be returning to the group. He remains with BELIFT LAB.
In April 2026 he announced his new stage name, EVAN, a name he's used since he was a kid. He released the single Ride or Die on June 22, 2026, followed by his first EP, Death of Me, on September 7, 2026. On the ENHYPEN side, The Sin: Vanish, released January 16, 2026, is the last album recorded as seven.

ENHYPEN in 2026: vampires, Billboard and a world tour
Ever since Given-Taken, ENHYPEN has been building a vampire story, one album at a time. The vampire works as a metaphor for idol life: the light that draws you in, the night, the price of fame. In 2026 the group kicked off a new series, The Sin. Its second chapter, The Sin: Bliss, released August 21, 2026, became their first No. 1 album on the US Billboard 200.
Their fourth world tour, BLOOD SAGA, opened at Seoul's KSPO DOME in May 2026. It hits Paris on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, the venue known as Paris La Défense Arena until July 1, 2026. It'll be ENHYPEN's first European tour as six. Going?
